青年艺术家李婷婷在作品中镶嵌一块老木雕，会挑战水墨观众的接受习惯。这块出自工匠之手的物件，不仅破坏了水墨画定义，也不符合“追求雅致”的水墨趣味，让面对水墨的原有轨道失效，摆脱既定的文化控制，才是李婷婷这组新作的根本出发点。

Art description:

Li Tingting embedded an old wood carving into her work to challenge the aesthetic expectations of an audience accustomed to ink wash painting. Made by artisans, this object interrupts the ink wash painting defined by the literati and defies their delicate taste for the elegant. Deviation from the established practice of ink wash painting and liberation from cultural restraints constitute the point of departure of Li Tingting’s art.
