作品说明:

结合笔和墨的美感。薄云在油画里运用一些大毛笔书法的笔触，将油画与传统水墨元素相结合。减弱了书法文字的可识性表意功能，加强了书法中的某些绘画特质，同时运用现代艺术表现语言突出了书法在视觉和美学中抽象的特质。

Art description:

This work is a combination of the beauty of brush and ink. Bo Yun has used some large brushstrokes of ink wash painting in this oil painting to bring together the elements of two artistic traditions. The ideographic function of calligraphy is thus downplayed and its pictorial traits accentuated. Meanwhile, the methods of modern artistic expression also reinforce the calligraphy’s visual and aesthetic abstract possibilities.
