Xie Aige’s artwork lays bare the spiritual essence of human beings, eliminating the restrictive and unnecessary while going back to basics in an effort to achieve a unique Chinese character and psyche. 'Not a Horse' gives form to the situation and state of mind of that outlook. Through the clouds of obscurity, the true desire appears, providing a fresh perspective on the world in which we live.
