毕业于天津美术学院雕塑系，现居北京，职业艺术家，创立武嘉慧艺术空间和武嘉慧雕塑创作空间。参加过国内外多个艺术大展并获奖。

Wu graduated from the Department of Sculpture of the Tianjin Fine Arts Institute, and now lives in Beijing as a professional artist. She founded the Wu Jiahui Art Space and the Wu Jiahui Sculpture Creation Space. She has participated in a number of national and international exhibitions, winning several awards.

作品说明:

人生宛若一条缀满珠宝的项链，而童年是一颗最璀璨的宝石。童年永远定格在个人的历史记忆当中，我们不断在内心摩挲她，让她变得更加光亮，从而照亮整个一生。武嘉慧选择用雕塑来记录来自童年的内心最柔软的记忆，用写意的雕塑来展现彼时的美好。主题上描绘了小女子悠闲自得的生活状态，实际上是在重现出上世纪二三十年代上海名媛的生活状态，体现了上海滩名媛文化的现象。

Art description:

Life is like a jeweled necklace, and childhood is one of the most brilliant gems that adorn it becoming eternally fixed in everyone’s memories. We constantly caress her in our hearts to allow her to glow and illuminate life. Wu Jiahui uses sculpture to record the softest memories of her childhood. Her freehand sculpture manifests the beauty of that time. The theme of the work, a girl leisurely enjoying a content life, actually represents the living standards and cultural phenomenon of a lady of note living in Shanghai during the 1920s.
