Beijing, China, 7th April, 2017 – Wanda Hotels & Resorts, the largest luxury hotel company from China, attended the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference to present its four brands and build up its image, in a move to increase visibility and presence in Arab countries.

China, now the world’s largest source of international travellers, contributes more than 13% of global tourism revenues. Driven by more tourism-friendly policies put in place in recent years, Chinese tourists have shifted their attention to Arab countries which are rising as a popular destination. As a result, hotels that understand Chinese consumers well and provide excellent oriental hospitality are in demand. Wanda Hotels & Resorts, an international luxury hotel company from China, has a unique competitive edge underpinned by its capabilities to provide oriental services to global consumers, especially to those from China.

For the duration of the event, representatives of Wanda Hotels & Resorts discussed opportunities of brand management cooperation with dozens of local property owners, developers and investors. As more international premier hotel brands move to China, the Chinese hospitality industry needs to make adjustments due to growing competition. In response, Wanda Hotels & Resorts has shifted focus to global expansion and brand exporting, as two engines driving its future growth. Today, the company has identified hotel projects in many international cities, including London, Los Angeles, Chicago, Sydney, Gold Coast, and Paris. In February, it became the first Chinese hotel management company to export its management expertise overseas when it signed a cooperation agreement on Wanda Vista in Istanbul.
